About

The Roland Green Preschool is the Special Needs preschool program of the Mansfield Public Schools.  Any child from age three to five years who has special needs is serviced at Roland Green. Typically developing children also attend our school to create our inclusive environment.

Currently, the Roland Green Preschool consists of seven classrooms with a staff of thirty that includes teachers, teaching assistants, therapists and support staff.  Most of our classes have ten to twelve children with a teacher and a teaching assistant.  We can have up to fifteen children in each class.

Our Preschool is closely linked with the Kindergarten program at the Robinson School.  We begin the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks, which is continued throughout the school system. Our program is individualized and developmentally appropriate.

We begin taking referrals for peer models in January.  Parents are encouraged to send in an application in January.  developmental screenings take place in the spring.
