Roland Green Preschool is a public preschool that educates peer model (typical Education Students) and special education Mansfield residents from the age of 3 in an inclusive classroom environment using a thematic based curriculum aligned to the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.   

Peer model students need to apply for enrollment.  Please see more information below.

Roland Green Peer Model Application 2020-2021.pdf


Roland Green Preschool is now accepting peer model applications for the 2020-2021 school year for Mansfield residents. Please note that the student must be three years old on or before Sept 1, 2020 and toilet trained to apply as a peer role model.  To receive an application, please call 508-261-1561 or download the application here Roland Green Peer Model Application 2020-2021.pdf.  A developmental screening process will be held in the spring for all eligible students.    

The Roland Green Preschool offers a developmental program for 3 to 5 year olds.  The program is designed in an integrated setting where children with disabilities are educated along with their typically developing peers.  Concepts are presented in a thematic approach and the program is individualized to meet the needs of each child, but also follows the Commonwealth of Massachusetts guidelines to provide a solid beginning for students when they enter Kindergarten.  Multi-sensory and hands-on experiences provide learning opportunities in social/emotional, language, motor and cognitive areas.  

All sessions will be held Monday- Thursday.  = No school on Fridays

Program Options include:

AM Session 8:30-11:00 (SESSION FULL)

PM Session 12:00-2:30

Full Day Session 8:30-2:30 (SESSION FULL)

Students will be screened and offered a placement based on their age, development and skill level.

Items Preschool Children Need

  • A change of clothes to be kept in school.Please label all items.
  • Child size backpack, bag, or plastic bag with handles—to accompany child each day for items such as projects, paper, notices, etc.
  • Snack: You are expected to pack your child's snack daily. Lists of recommended snacks are on page 9
  • REMINDER! Please label all of your child’s items.
  • Sneakers – please send in sneakers if your child wears snow boots/rain boots to school.
